Working on a new travel book, about our trip last September/October to six National Parks in the US and Canada

Notes:
My first move was to shift everything on the template to the right, to give me a little more breathing room on the left for my title and journaling. I popped in the photos and then went to work on the background. I used a ton of transfers/overlays from the Artplay Palette, and also some layers from the Light Leaks Frames (though not the frames themselves) to enrich the solid white paper I had chosen from the APP. The long squiggly white thing to the left of the photos is a copy of the photo of the branch on the bacteria mat, flipped horizontally and applied using overlay mode. I finished with a few brushes, recolored, and Artsy Paper #4 dropped toward the top of the layer stack on multiply mode at 35% opacity for additional texture and a smidge of extra color.
