Process: Started with two photos (processed with Prisma app).
My typical approach to ArtsyKardz:
Open all layers of an ArtsyKardz psd file. Use one that matches the orientation of your photo: landscape/portrait/square.
Then start playing:
Experiment by moving a photo and copies of the photo between layers.
Clip photo to a paint or stain layer.
Shift position of transfer layers to enhance the photo rather than block it.
Merge some layers.
Use blending modes on some layers.
Transfer components from one ArtsyKardz to another.
Finally, merge all layers and position composite on layout or clip to mask layer of a template or frame.
At this point, I opened the FotoInspired Template and altered it to accommodate my photos and photo crops. Clipped ArtsyKardz composites to the newly arranged/duplicated template layers. Linked layers and resized to create increased border area. Added background paper. Recolored Scattered Hearts, Charcoal Heart, WordART and word label. Finished with tape and camera.
