Inspiration - I was looking for the right photo to go with the reds of the Artsy Transfers of APP Tinselry and, with luck, found a picture taken at the beach this week of the iconic Red Phone Box. Even if it was a bit far from home here on the coast of Maine in the snow,
Start - With a new file
Paper - Solid Paper 2
Mask/photo - I placed Evergreen FotoBlendz 3.3 (used the png) on the page. I clipped the picture to the mask areas using Layer>Create Clipping Mask.
Artsy Layered Transfers - I added ArtsyTransferTinselry 1 and 2 to the page because I like the red to go with my phone box. Used 1 to hug the left-hand side of the photo and 2 on the left edge to create a bit of a diagonal look.
Elements - Added the Plaid Bow in the lower right-hand corner of the masked photo and turned it to match the snowbank. The bow helped conceal the dirty snow that wasn't eliminated by the mask. I placed the gold leaves under the bow. Then I selected the pixels of the gold leaves, click on the bow I erased where the bow was. I did the same with the shadow layer. This step allowed the gold leaves to look entwined with the bow. I added a word transfer over the gray building the right side and applied Blend Mode Darken to it then I added a new layer under the transfer and lightly painted white so you could see the word transfer and not the building.
Wordart- Used the Word Art "Timeless Treasures" from APP Verdue for a title
I loved how the light background makes the photo and the art to pop.
