Winter Rose

Products on Sale in the Store 1st January

Happy New Year!

This weeks sales products are gorgeous, but I find it hard to make pieces to match the winter climate in the Northern Hemisphere as we do not have snow at all.

I wish we did with the weather we are experiencing
at the moment.

So I attempted to find and image and create a piece that would be a bit whimsical using the lovely elements and an image to suit.

I started with a 12 x 12 page and then used backgrounds and elements from APP Sparkle and also APP Studious.

I copied one of the picture frames from Artsy Layered Template No 127 to use as my centre piece and used my manipulated image to clip to the grey layer via - Layer Create Clipping Mask (ALT+CTRL+G).

I then proceeded to use embellishments from APP Sparkle and SnowSprinklez No 1. Some I layered some beneath the picture frame and others over it to give a sparkly effect.

Yes, gorgeous indeed! White roses in the natural are so beautiful, unlike the white roses from the florist. I love the photo treatment on these, and the background textures and transfers.

Clever use of various techniques which add a little spark to the photo. Beautifully done.

Your photo is perfect for the products you used! I also like the subtle photo treatment.
