I chose this particular Fotoblendz to use with the template because I could see it gave me a good shot at obscuring the gym assistants' faces, a good thing, because I was targeting my grandson as the layout's focal point. I also liked how the circular shape on the edge of the Fotoblendz echoed the big rolling-tumbling thing at the gym. I then added another Fotoblendz from the same set to keep the circular motion going in the background, then recolored the juicy paint and stain layers of the template to coordinate with my photo. To select an Artplay Palette, I scrolled through my preview file and found one with coordinating colors, then used that Artplay Palette to flesh out my page, using Artsy Paper #2 as my background. I finished with the wordART (recolored, with a stroke), and by writing the story of the day.
