For my page I decided to layer the papers that I wanted to make it look like I was writing my letter on top of Christmas wrapping paper. Adding a few elements and snowflakes to add to the feeling of cold winter weather that we get here in Canada. I also used some Word Art from Sue Cummings that I had in my stash from a few years back that I have always loved.

My journaling reads...
I am very sorry for not stopping and saying Hello the other day
while I was in the Mall. The lines were horrendous and it looked
like you were pretty stressed out! I dont know how you manage
to listen to all those demands and the wailing of all of those
children and still keep your sanity I guess that is why you are
called Saint Nicolas! I wish I could tell you that I have been a
very good girl this year, but I know that you know the truth I
havent always been nice and I have neglected to give to others
as much as I should. I have said some pretty mean things about the
neighbors and their dogs,also some bad language about the
state that the world is in. Especially with you know who becoming
the leader of the most powerful country in the world.
I have been good sometimes though, I clean my house and cook the
meals. I havent been in trouble with the police (yet)
I try to get enough exercise and most of the time I manage not to
complain about my husbands constant snoring.
So now with that out of the way, we can get down to the business
of my Christmas Wishes for this year.
In no particular order:
. Enough with the Vertigo already, please take this away!
I miss looking up and not getting dizzy!
. 20/20 Vision would be nice, reading glasses even the
designer kind are just a pain in the you know what!
. I would love to have just a small portion of the talent
that is in the gallery at Oscraps.
. A few extra hours of sleep would be most welcome also.
. The disappearance of at least 20 extra unwanted pounds
without the starvation that goes along with dieting.
. Free downloads for my Kobo reader would be awesome.
. A new EHD would be great, I have so much stuff on my old one
that I am sure it is about ready to explode.
I already have all the important stuff... a great husband,
wonderful kids and grandkids and another one on the way. Fabulous
friends both here at home and my digi-scrapping pals. I am immersed
in gratitude each and every day! I know my list is probably out of
reach and so I would settle for enough me-time to do the things
that I love to do.

PS. I wanted to let you know that my husband has been extra good this
year and has worked very, very hard. So maybe you could please get
him everything he wishes for and disregard my list....
he never asks for too much like I do.
