Process
A solid paper from APP Apothic was used as the foundation of the page. The image of the abandon house was changed to black and white. Using the Threshold Adjustment Tool the image was given a more graphic look. The image was then clipped to a fotoblendz mask. The pearl button from APP Apothic was placed behind the image, resized and the blending mode was changed to soft light. The button was duplicated (reduced opacity) for more definition. A Distressed Tool brush (recolored white) was layered over the button to give it the cracking look. Several other Distressed Tool brushes (recolored white) were added to extend the area around the house image. A MultiMedia Halloween 1 image was added, along with the bats from Halloween 3 and AP Mini Twilight (also recolored white). The page was completed by adding stains and splatters from AT Apothic, an overlay and word art.
