We were very wary of the Uncompahgre River, and were surprised to see people fly fishing in it. Getting too near the gold water is creepy to us.

I hope they were doing catch and release fishing--sounds a little too heavy metal. I'm struck at how pretty the landscape is in contrast to the vile water.
