Yesterday,I cleaned the hummer feeders and placed them in their winter storage place. It is always sad for me when the hummers begin their southern migration and no longer require my assistance in their feeding.
They are always a highlight of my daily trek and make porch sitting even more fun.Here's hoping that they cross "the border" in a safe migration.I know I will anxiously await their return next spring.
