We had previously tried Porphyry Gulch jeep trail but it was closed halfway up. This time we reached the top, just above a waterfall. The hillside was still covered in wildflowers delayed by the late spring snow. We hiked a little but the trail was too steep for the altitude challenged.

Those sweet little wildflowers framed are so pretty and accompany the gorgeous scenery beautifully. Love the background and the turn. Sounds like a fun adventure.

BTW, thank you for commenting on my latest layout; I know what you mean about sometimes being overwhelmed with all the gorgeous layouts in the gallery. I could spend the whole day just gazing at them. :) Yours is a delight!

Crazy elevation, I'd be gasping. I like those flowers--some sort of aster? Gorgeous terrain, fabulously presented.
