Melic WordART Mix No. 1 https://www.oscraps.com/shop/Melic-WordART-Mix-No.-1.html

I was definitely inspired by the lift page, A Rainy Day by Marleen. But I always like to give something my own spin. As I had been working with pictures of butterflies for a class I am taking, it just seemed like a good idea to use one of those pictures.

Process: I used the Color Pencil Filter in the Artistic group of filters in the Filter Gallery. The settings were Width - 4, Pressure - 8, and Brightness - 33. For the background paper, I copied a section of the background of the picture which I used to create a pattern. I inserted a blank layer below the photo and filled it with the pattern. Then I used a Motion blur to remove the harsh lines. With the Picture Layer selected, I clicked on the Mask Icon. With a brush and the color set to black, I colored over the edges of the picture. I set the blend mode to Pin Light. I merged the layers.

I brought the butterfly from App Skys the Limit onto the page and placed it in on the stem in the picture. I used Hue/Saturation to change the color to orange. Next, I placed some butterflies from App Find My Way on the page using theBlend Mode Pin Light on the single butterfly and the Blend Mode Soft Light on the two butterflies. Lastly, I used WordArt from Melic for the title.

I remember that Anna has said that white space doesn't have to be white, so feel I have done a decent job on the Lift.
The photo effect is very delicate and a perfect company to the butterflies!

Joan, love, love, love! That vibrant lime green just makes me happy. Thanks so much for playing along.
