Summer's End WordART No. 1 https://www.oscraps.com/shop/Summer-s-End-WordART-No.-1.html
This is inspired by two things, one I was posting the sepia photo to my 365 Project and all the news on Dorian. I decided to post all monotone using the sepia photo for a break in color. Also to post only lighthouses sans lighthouse keepers homes.
I like three frames or two frames and a mask but decided to find three frames linked together so in LR I looked through my supplies at the various Artsy Layered Templates that I have. I chose the three from Artzy Layered Template 295. I mean, why recreate the wheel when Anna as done all the work all ready. So I clicked on the first layer of the frames and Shift clicked on the last layer and then dragged them onto my page. I placed them about where they were on the original template.
I used Edit>Create Clipping Mask to attach all three of my pictures to the frames. I wanted a dark background with maybe a bit of color, so I chose Solid Paper 5. I tried to use transfers and brushes to create my own bit of color behind the pictures. The brushes mainly added to the look of clouds blown in the wind. Transfer 7 was placed behind but sort of in the middle of the three photos. Over the top of this, I put the Gold Paint, and then Overlay1 was set on the left edge. The rest was various brushes used. To contain the photos.
Next, I added some elements like the green frame behind one of the pictures. Then key and the foliage over another. I placed an Urban Threadz Flower over the green frame and the photo. I used Brushed-Edge-Overlays-No 1 but used Cntrl I and reduced the opacity to about 40%.
I chose the WordArt Change is coming.... because a hurricane is a change in weather. But decided to put the white tape under it so you could see it better. Lastly, part of a poem by Norma Beaird for the journaling. Hoping everyone is safe as Dorian winds up the coast.
