A FotoInspired layout in Photoshop Elements 14

Journaling:
In the Mouraria area of Lisbon, one of the oldest parts of the city, on the Largo Dos Trigueiros, there is a small miraclea celebration of the neighborhood's elderly community called, simply, Tribute. The exhibition features photos by British ex-pat artist Camilla Watson of long-time residents, which she printed directly on the walls of the ancient buildings. This area of the city, the only one in Lisbon that was spared from the great earthquake, hadn't been renovated in hundreds of years, and Watson saw the high density of elderly residents aging right along with the buildings. She imagined their faces as part of the architecture and set herself the challenge of incorporating the portraits into the walls themselves. As we were weaving our way among the buildings, I found myself with perpetual butterflies in my stomach, in a most magical way.
Love the color of the buildings accented with the black journaling blocks. The stitching and elements are perfect accents. Congratulations!

Wow, what amazing photos and even more amazing story! You really captured the historic, vintage feel. Congrats on your GSO!

Wonderful how you've sorted all the beautiful pictures, the colors are great, I love the butterfly and the suitcase, all together a super page!

This is just brilliant! The photos, the history, and the use of these amazing digital supplies (some of my faves)!

Sounds like an amazing area, one I'd love to visit. I like how you incorporated that butterfly in there to represent your feelings as you wandered through the buildings.... a marvelous piece!

Congratulations on the GSO! They made a great choice!

A Gallery Standout for sure...Congrats, Laura! Fascinating project she undertook! Your superb photo arrangement creates angles suggesting the "weaving" pattern of your exploration! Love!
