I layered up the charcoal brushes for the wings and the tail section. I used the stronger different strokes brushes to create the beak, the line from head to tail, and the chest area (there was some warpping of these lines to get them the right shape). The Newsprint brush is under all the wing layers to fill them out a little. I used a transfer to create the face (the transfer was changed to black and white). Added the word art, then went back and decided to add the paper textures. I think the only one that really stands out is the one on the left wing at the top, but if I turned off all the texture layers the bird would be much "flatter."
