Another Morocco page for my newest travel album
Photoshop Elements 14
I used the Fotoblendz Overlay down the left side for my main photo, added the background (Artsy Paper # 1), then slid in the FotoInspired Template, clipping in my photos. I used only the top two-thirds of the template, then covered its edges with another photoI freehand-blended the djellaba on the right edge with multiply and screen blend modes, then layer-masked away unnecessary pixels with an Artsy Brush. I had a lot of raw edges, and that's where the Artsy Transfers saved the day, particularly at the lower left and lower right of the page. I finished up with a few layers from various flowers in the Multimedia Flower pack. At the end, I added a Postage Edge Overlay kind of as a symbol of me setting foot in North AfricaI never thought I would do that.
And...because sometimes I just can't let things go, and because the layout still looked flat to me, at the end I dragged in an array of paper textures and stains/spatters to add texture and transparency to my design (including giving that striped skirt and djellaba some wrinkles with a paper texture).
