Journaling: Another new chapter in my life is in the making and I am scared and happy at the same time. Ive lived in this house since 1974 and its time for a change. I am stymied, in a rut, with too many memories I cant get away from that have built up over the years, good and messy. I need a fresh new place, a fresh start to make memories that have nothing to do with the old. I need the amenities of a larger town, meet new people, new activities and a new outlook. While its bittersweet, I know its time to go. Im sure the perfect house to make it a home, is waiting for me.

Notes: This is the order the layout is in the Layers Panel. So, starting with solid paper 1, the thin strips masks were placed and various artsy papers were clipped to them. Underneath the strips, towards the bottom of the page, is a Linear mask with another solid paper clipped to it. All the masks and papers are on Normal blend mode.
Over the Linear Mask clipping set is the Axiom Fotoblendz with the photo clipped to it. I duplicated the photo, made it black and white and used the Cutout Filter on it and blended Linear Dodge with the opacity set to 62%. Artsy paint brush with a color from the palette was stamped at the top of the photo and a word art transfer was clipped to it. The brush is blended to Linear Burn. Over these layers the light leak was added and blended to Color Burn at 100% opacity.
With Axiom brushes and a layer mask on the Linear FotoBlendz layer, I knocked some of it out. I added more word art under the photo clipping set and clipped a transfer to it. I added more transfers at the top of the page and notebook brush along with a taped texture. Ruled lines are at the bottom of the photo along with the word art title. The journaling was brought in and positioned.
To flesh out the page, art strokes, another notebook brush at the right side along with the quote and pencil and string were added. The little word label and heart finished the page.
