New Products coming to the Oscraps Store Friday 26th July...
Great new products coming soon to the store that mix some gorgeous colours.
To create the piece, I started with a 12 x 12 page at 300 dpi. I then selected an ArtsyPaper from the new APP Axiom.
One I had placed the paper, I rotated it several times to get the main block of colour where I wanted it to appear. I simply selected CTRL +T and then moved to the edge of the page to get the half round arrow and moved it around.
Once my paper was in place, I perused the folder of products that will be on sale and selected the word ART from AASPN_AxiomWordARTMix1 and the word make MakeMagic as well.
With the word Art I wanted to do something a bit different, so selected on of my manipulated images from my trip and clipped it to the word.
I placed the image above the word and selected - ALT+CTRL+G to clip it to the word. I moved it around to get the image within the letters. I also added a drop shadow to it.
This was done by selecting the FX icon at the bottom of the layers stack and choosing drop shadow.
I placed the other word next to the word art.
To complete the image, I selected a Splatter overlay from the APP and duplicated the layers several times and moved each splatter around where I wanted them.
One of them I re-coloured by choosing Edit Fill I selected colour option and then ensured that the preserve transparency was checked on. I selected a colour close to the mint green colour of the Artsy Paper.
