Anna Color 7-4 City Hall

I thought the license appointment was at 10. So of course we were there at San Francisco City Hall at 9:30. Turns out it was not until 11. While waiting for Megan & Sam, I toured the beautiful building (Id never been inside before), learned abut its history (did you know, not only did Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio get married at City Hall, but also Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera) and attended three other weddings on that happy morning.

Deja Vu all over again! We learned all about the history of the building at my daughter's wedding ceremony last October--my son (the officiant) made sure of that! Isn't it an extraordinary space? Make sure to get pictures of the happy couple on the actual day from above, on the stairs...the shots of Eva and Christina twirling in a dance are some of my favorites in the wedding album. Magically, the place was empty except for all of us (did you rent the upper gallery for the guests?)...which made the photos that much more impactful.
