The heat and humidity have left me unmotivatted when it came to finishing this page I started several days ago. But now I have added the journaling and it is done.

Process.

I used my usual formula for templates. With ones that have a place for a larger picturs I like to choose that picetures first and then find supporting photos. These are from a quick trip to Bug Light Park. Bug Light had to be the main photo. The other pictures highlighted the beautiful sights I saw sitting in my car and enjoying all the activity. I added them to the frame masks using Layer>Create Masking layer. I selected Solid Paper 4 from APP Oasis as the background paper.

Next I went through the stain layers and colored them appropriately using Edit>Fill. Then add a couple of elements like the ring and decorative brad from APP Splash. Add the title and journaling and the page is done. Templates can be easy pages to display our photos.
Beautiful page. I love the painter because he reminds me it's not only interesting but also a nice place to stay a while.

Such a charming light house...its decorative architecture goes well with the plumes! A lovely seafaring layout, Joan!

Hope you had the air conditioning on while sitting in the car--I know what you mean about the weather sapping motivation. Here, too. Being in the midst of a heat wave, I have to say that big splashy blue stain is particularly refreshing!

The photos and the page are very page! I like the big photo selection, the process description too!
