Journaling reads: It's been a summer of discovery for me and what I've learned is to knit each day one row at a time.

I chose the Oasis Release for my non-Oasis subject matter because I liked the colors, the words, the fabric embellishments/transfer/overlays, and, especially, the truck in the included brush set. I blended my photo into two Fotoblendz, then blended in the collaged image over the background. Dragging and dropping a number of transfers/overlays and brushes from the Artplay Palette in this release allowed me to further develop areas of the background that supported knitting my first sweater in a heat wave. At the end I splashed around some sunny yellow stains from the Artsy Stain set.
