Artsy Layered Template No. 198
https://www.oscraps.com/shop/Artsy-Layered-Template-No.-198.html
This was one of those pages that came together as I was adding the items from the Palette, etc into my Lightroom and adding tags. I already had two different sets of photos selected and settled on these of my girlfriend who would have celebrated her 70th birthday last week. I would love a carefree day at the beach with my friends again.
Process
I started with ArtsyLayeredTemplate 198 I liked the simplicity of the photo layers. I added two pictures to the frames. I duplicated one and added it to the mostly concealed frame but I flipped the photo horizontal and enlarged it, then added a little color. This was to make it look like a different photo.
I placed ArtsyPaper 3 over the background layer and started playing with the layers of the template. I turned most off and added some color to other one. I brought in ArtsyTransfers 5 and 7. I pulled of the urban thread that was on the double frames and added one I liked for the way it curved across the bottom corners of the frames. Then I added the ribbon to the other frame erasing part of it so it too curved around one corner. I added one of the the Oasis brushes that gave some texture between the two photos. And used the Palette brushes to add some more color and texture.
Then I choose a word art for the title. But it didn't feel finished so I left it on my computer as I continued with other things. Finally it came to me to add one of the MultiMedia suns. I found a smiling one and added it. There was some lace on the transfer but it seemed to get lost when I placed the sun. So I brought in the lace transfer and placed it below the sun but above the clouds and lightened it. I brought in some urban stitching but I erased part of it so the stitching seemed intertwined with the raffia. Now I had a nice visual triangle and the page felt finished. Just add the journaling and I was done.
