Process
A solid paper from APP Oasis was used as the foundation of the page. Two images, one of my husband looking out at the ocean, and another of palm trees (this image was inverted) were used. These two images were processed in iPhone app Diana and the filter Island was used to get the green/blue colors. Then the new image was clipped to a Fotoblendz Overlay mask, duplicated and clipped to another Fotoblendz Overlay mask for a fuller image on the page. The layers were merged, duplicated with the blending mode changed to soft light (slightly reduced opacity). A warm glow (reduce opacity) was added between the two images. Several transfers from APP Oasis were layered around the page. A Watercolor Palm tree (filled with white) was added. Pattern paper from APP Sea Foam was recolored to a darker blue and clipped to a textured overlay. The page was completed by adding word art and dimensional embellishments.
