This is the second year I have done a Fotoinspired project. I am doing it based on my photo rides. I usually do a double page but time is tight because for once I am letting houseword take presedence. Hoping at the end of the year I can look back and see the many wonderful times I had.
Process
I started with Fotoinspired Template J.11. I clicked on all the layers and then with the move tool rotated it 90 clock wise. I then clicked on the text box and rotated it 90 counter clockwise. I reviewed my photos. I choose the ones that I liked and told the story of my trip.
I added the photos to the 7 photo masks using Layer>Create Clipping mask. I even placed one of a soft pink flowering tree under the text box.
I then seached for a green paper and found one I liked in ArtPly Pallet Wellspring. I placed it above the background. I used the Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation to tweak the color so it matched the building somewhat.
I then placed two artsy transfers (4 and 5) from APP Sashay behind th photos.
Next I selected two small yellow flowers, one from APP Posy and one from APP Home. I placed them on the top and bottom layer to compliment my forsythia.
Lastly I placed the title from APP Daffodil.
I think a fotoinspired\ template can be so easy to prepare. Pick the photos, the template, a paper, an element or two and some transfers. It's mostly my recipe to keep it easy so I can let the pictures tell the story Oh yes and a little journaling to tell about the ride.
