Taormina Theater

Hanging off the edge of a cliff with expansive views of Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea, the Greek-Roman theater was built by the Greeks in the third century BC, then remodeled by the Romans. It is still in use today. Contemplating 2500 years of history with the view of a 500,000 year-old volcano.
