Fawn

I found this little one hidden in the bed of hostas. Moma wasn't too far away, watching.

Process
Page 12 from FotoInspired Template Pack 2J was opened up. The foto mask layers were resized smaller. The pattern paper from APP Anything was use as the foundation of the page. The photo of the fawn was clipped to a fotoblendz mask and layered over the large mask of the template. Transfer 2 from the kit was layered behind the image. Snippets of paper from APP Anything and APP Blessing were clipped to the other fotomasks. An artsy paper from Artplay Mini Palette Bilbo was clipped to the deer brush from APP Christmas Magic, duplicated with the blending mode changed to linear burn. The same was done to the smaller deer from APP Meadow. Custom shadows were added to both. Several layers from AT Anything along with an overlay from APP Anything and brushes from APP Blessings were placed on the page. Word art, stitchez and dimensional elements completed the page.
Wonderful collage! I love how you used the silhouettes, the foliage, and the white splatters. It is all so gentle just like we all feel about a fawn.

Just adore this. Love the sweet capture, and how you've used the template with papers and embellishments. Text and stitches so great here!

We once had a doe have her fawn in our backyard - the fawn was so little - the mom went to eat and came back in the evening and the fawn left - this page is perfect with colors and deer embellishments - and they ate our hostas all up - a delightful page!

Hostas! Around here, that's deer fodder, as are daylilies. This is adorable, with such a sprightly feel. Love how you used the Christmas Magic deer--still one of my favorite embellishments and all the layering is fabulous.

darling photo and great compositon with perfect elements. love the different schades of green.
