First fishing party 1904

I borrowed Christy "Zlemon" wonderful idea about remaking a LO using the new Camping tools. This page was originally made for the Heritage Live class last fall.

Supplies:

NEW eA Camping No. 1 (5.31.19)
APP Wilderness https://www.oscraps.com/shop/ArtPlay-Palette-Wilderness.html
Scenic Fotoblendz No. 1 https://www.oscraps.com/shop/Scenic-FotoBlendz-No.-1.html
AASPN MultiMedia Branches No. 1 https://www.oscraps.com/shop/MultiMedia-Branches-No.-1.html

Process:
Palette Artsy Paper 1 was placed on a new canvas. Scenic FB1_4 psd was placed, and multiple copies of my family vintage photo was clipped to all the layer, using various blend modes to enhance the poor quality photo.
eA Camping png files were placed next. The camp fire file was duplicated x3 recoloring each layer in fire colors. A new layer was placed between them and AnnaBlendz brush was used to paint fire colors, and burned wood. Fire colors were also painted on a new layer of the kerosene lantern. The tent file was used in its original format.
Palette elements and MM Branches completes the cluster and page.

The back of the photo reads in my grandmothers handwriting Taken on Smiths Island south of the Mississippi River August 14, 1904. Our first fishing party. My grandmother would have been about 18 years of age.

TFL and comments.

Love the vintage photo and how it's blended into the wood texture of the paper! The camping elements are perfect for this pioneer story!

Smith's Island! Maybe a little underwater today, given the lovely long flood of 2019! Great photo and layout!
