After watching the live classes for NSD 2019 I had to try one of Adryane's fabulous butterflies. Mine is not nearly as clever as hers. Watching the class I thought of Franz Kafka and so that is where my inspiration comes. If you look closely you will see my Metamorphosis.
Process
Well first I created the butterfly on a separate page. I am not describing this because it is Adryane's process and not mine. I did add my photo to the butterfly. Once created I save the butterfly for use on my page.

I started with Artsy Template 143. I then placed my butterfly on the page. I decided to use Solid paper 3 since my butterfly was predominately pink and the green would help it stand out. Next I colored the various layers trying to coordinate with the butterfly.

I then added watercolor flower 14 to the page. Butterflies are attracted to flowers. I filled the flower with pink making sure the preserve transparency with checked.. I placed the flower behind the frames.

I added the same photo I had to the butterfly to the frames using the mask clipping function. I turned the lower photo black and white. I added the pink heart under the photos and placed UrbanThreadz 3.4 over the heart. I choose the word art It's a happy talent to know how to play because that is what I was doing with this butterfly.

Thank you Adryane!

Hope you will play with a clever idea you see in the gallery.
