I thinking along the lines of creating a book of "Mothers" for my granddaughters to give them a sense of lineage and family history. This is the line of mothers from my maternal side. Love how versatile Anna's new 5x5 Mother's Layered Template Album 1 is. So easy to mix and match!

Process
Page 2 of the new Mothers Layered Template Album 1 was opened up. A solid paper from APP Sashay was resized to fit the album and clipped to the photo mask on the left side of the page. The frame layer from MM Documents 4_1 was layered on the left side and resized smaller. Because they were 5 photos that I wanted to include and only 4 frame openings, the frame was duplicated. A layer mask was added and using a soft brush part of it was hidden. The photos were then placed within the frame openings. A layer mask was added to each brushing out the surrounding areas, leaving only the faces showing in the openings. The girls were extracted and a custom shadow was placed behind them. The roses from MM Documents 4 were added, along with a button from APP Sashay. A white outline was added to the word art with a slight shadow.
