Palermo Market

Although a riot of intense colors, the true experience of Palermo market was in the sounds and smells, the rambunctious calling of the vendors, the pungent odors of fish and cheese.
Did you know the Sicilians invented the blood orange? (this is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek statement; they were sure you could get them no where else. I didn't have the heart to tell them we grow them in California).

Belle page souvenir, la Sicile est un beau pays que vous avez bien mis en valeur dans vos pages

That is one busy marketplace.Your double page emphasizes the photos with colour and masking. I can almost hear the vendors calling. Well done.

interessting impressions of this market and funny story about the blood oranges.

You really create the life and bustle here. Someday our pages will, I hope, have ways to incorporate audio chips so we can hear the sounds!

Love this riot of colors! Thanks for sharing a small part of your adventure.

Looks like a place I'd like to spend some time. You've conveyed the pace of the market perfectly.
