Okay dipping my toe into new territory again. Have never used Artsy Kardz before. But nothing ventured nothing gained. I am okay with this page but not thrilled. Hoping my next venture with them is better for having tried this one.
Process
Papers -Added Solid Paper 1 to a blank page.
Artsy Kardz I decided to add three Aks to the page in a diagonal design. - (3X4 3, 4X6 2, and 3X4 4) I resized so they were approximately the same size.
Photos I added a hooded merganser picture to two different layers on the corner one copy by itself close to the edge is blended to Hard light, the other copy is recopied two more times and each copy has a different blend mode. The Great blue heron is on a mask because I couldn't get a layer to work well. The picture has 3 copies each at a different blend mode. I grouped the pictures and the mask together and duplicated the group in an attempt to make the bird stand out. The Canadian Goose stretching its wings is on one of the the new thin masks and is again three copies each at at different blend mode. The last picture is of three Canadian geese in flight. It is not a particularly clear focus but it works well in this context. I clicked on the blue sky and filled the selected area with the color of the background paper. The picture is on Color burn mode.
Artsy transfer I added number 5 to the lower left hand corner.
Brushes I used various stain and splatter brushes in the areas that did not have an AK or AT or background paper art.
Element the only element I added was the word strip Joy on darken blend mode with opacity reduced.
Title My own words as these birds fly into my world sometimes only for a short period of time and other times for the summer. Then they leave. While others are taking flower pictures for spring I take water fowl because they show up first.
Hope you will enjoy my first attempt to use these Aks and will try some on your own.
