I'm an avid fan of the series Victoria on pbs. I noticed in several episodes that Victoria was seen doing watercolors. So I googled and discovered she was quite accomplished and often used her family as subjects. I thought this one of Alice, her second daughter was so charming, I wondered it was a paper doll during the Victorian era. And the new Sashsay bundle was a perfect choice with it's vintage accents.

Copy: Growing up in the shadow of her older siblings, sister Princess Victoria, who married a German emperor, & Prince Albert Bertie Edward, who became King Edward VII, Alice had an interesting life. She also married German royalty, her daughter married a Tsar, & she is the great grandmother of Prince Phillip. Alices sixth & most famous child, Alexandra, born in 1872 & who married Grand Duke Nicholas, later Tsar Nicholas was also executed by the communists in 1918.

Process notes:
I used SolidPaper No. 1 as my base. I added several transfers and few elements from the multi-media art on top of the page to give a Victorian look. I then placed my watercolor art of Alice, and a linear mask from the bundle and clipped them together. Masked out parts of the clipped art to blend better into the background. Duplicated Alice two times, placed one as is=s on the left side and reduced the opacity to 75%. Placed two on the right side. Used the luminosity blend mode on one to give a shadow look and placed it behind the colored Alice. Added a few accents like buttons on her bonnet, the copy and the title.
