I am learning to look at what others are doing more closely and if they describe their process to try to take it in. So when I acquired the APP Wonderful I noticed that many people in the inspiration pages on the page with the kit used a sketch.
Process - Open Artsy-Layered-Template-No 138
Paper Solid Paper was added to the template
Photos -add a sketch of a sugar shack to one mask and original photo (only flipped horizontally) on another mask. Other photos which added to the story of Maine Maple Sunday were added to the frames.
Stains and paint on template colored the stains mostly a light gray and some a sky blue
Transfers/Overlays added several transfers and overlays from APP Wonderful layering them as I had seen that others had done. I used blue and gold layers to lead the eye through the page.
Brushes a brush was used for one of the gold stains so I would have a triangle
Stitching removed the white frame from one of the pictures and added the Urban Stitch Korner.
Finishing added elements, word art and journaling,
