I have been having trouble with my art the past couple of weeks but this page I rather like so I am sharing instead of deleting. I liked how APP Melic had all these tulips in transfers and multimedia. So I sought out one of my favorite tulip shots. I found a photo mask I liked and clipped the photo to it. Because of all the colors in the photo I choose a neutral paper for the background so used Solidpaper3 from the kit. I then added ArtsyTransfer 5 to my page because I thought the colors supported my picture. But I turned off a lot of the layers so I had the yellow tulip on the edge. Then I added Multimedia1.1 to my page next to the Artsy transfer and Multimedia 1.5 on the other side of my picture and closer to the lower left corner. I like the diagonal this formed and and added Overlay 2 to anchor the this line. I fiddled with the mask and the photo to get a slight right to left tilt to mimic the diagonal. I worked on the upper right corner because I wanted this to be stronger then the lower left. So I added transfer 2 under the multimedia, and Overlay 1 under and above the multimedia, lastly I filled a little hole with the Goldpaint. I felt I now had a nice area for the title which I choose from Wordart mix 3. The last thing I did was add various paint brushed on different layer so they helped contain the picture. I particularly like the paper texture brushes and used one on the lower right of the picture as I thought it added dimension to the photo/mask. I erased the part that didn't fit. I also added an art stroke and text stating where the picture was taken and the year. I want to remember fondly how my sister and I came across this lovely line of tulips.
