When we checked in at Sanibel Inn, they warned us about the no-see-ums and gave us insect repellent. Our view was beautiful but we stayed inside. We took the insects very seriously and after our trip to the wildlife refuge, it took a while for us to finally visit the beach. Several days.

LOVE the painted sky!!! It's been years since I visited Sanibel...have good memories of shelling. Great landscape photography!

I've never heard of no-see-ums, but that sounds miserable. I hate it when nature comes with bugs ;-) Lovely spread and great sky! I like the way the door number is presented as an element.
