This is a collage of bits of things, including old postcards, Dover clip-art books, and recent newspaper clippings, concerning the plight of kids who were brought here illegally by their parents as children and remain in our country today. Many of these kids were students in my classes at the City University of New York when I was teaching there, so I follow the DACA and Dreamer issues closely. Mostly this layout is just stream of consciousness dragging, dropping, clipping, and blending, relying on the Artsy Transfers to develop lots of layers, which seems appropriate since the DACA and Dreamer issues are both complex and multi-layered topics.
