Process
After choosing a solid paper I added the photograph duplicated it and created a sketch on the bottom layer (darken blending mode) created an inverted mask and brushed out all of the photograph except for the car. I duplicated the sketch image and added a Linear Burn blending mode.
On the next duplicated photo layer I created an inverted mask and brushed back in the colour (using a watercolour brush) onto the car.
Underneath the car layer I added a brush layer of solid colour.
Transfers were positioned behind the car.
More brushes were added to create a retro look. Finally I added text from the brush supplies.
