On Friday morning we drove to Aktun Chen and to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary and didn't stay at either tourist trap. We decided instead to spend the day at our resort. We visited the vendors and sat on the beach with our drinks and tried to memorize the Caribbean Sea.
