Our best, most memorable day was our trip to Punta Allen on the Boca Paila Peninsula (Sian Ka'an). After the bridge the road was barely passable with water 18 inches deep. We met three lovely people from Argentina at Las Palapas. We were the only patrons for their lunch hour.
