Over the river

In grade school, Thanksgiving week, in music class we always sung Over the River. It was one of my favorite folk songs. I was fortunate to have grandparents that lived "through the woods" and over a river, so the song was true, other than the sleigh...we rode in a car.

Supplies:

All from Epiphany Collection coming 11.16.18
ArtPlay Palette Epiphany
MultiMedia Autumn No. 1

Process:

Palette Solid Paper 2 was placed on a new canvas.
My photo was placed and inverted mask used to reveal the parts I wanted, then a decrease in hue/saturation.
Palette overlays, transfers and art strokes were placed above the photo in the layers panel to build the bumpy road and enhance the river scene.
The cart was placed with acorns and MM Autumn pumpkins.
Transfer 5 was placed on the left, and transfer 2 placed up top and stretched a bit over the photo.
MM Autumn turkey, stitched pumpkins and black button, string and threads finished the page.

Just a wonderful story with pictures and words. I remember singing that song in school. Beautifully executed!

Love the little wagon and blended photo! I remember that song also, so appropriate for T.Giving!
