Monarch sighting

Austin is on the Monarch butterfly migration path, so every year around this time I capture one or two. The Together Bundle on sale now was a perfect choice to display its beauty.

Supplies:
Artplay Palette Together Bundle

Luster FotoBlendz No. 1

Process notes:
I used SolidPaper No. 1 my background paper. I added my focal photo and a Luster fotoBlenz, clipping them together. I really like the new FotoBlendz because that have script included. I added two ArtsyTransfers from the bundle underneath the clipped photo to add more light and a touch of vintage ephemera. Created a cluster from the elements and stitched leaves in the bundle and placed it to the left to balance the focal design. The quote was my final touch.

Thanks for looking.
I love the fan shape of this composition, what a beautiful butterfly! We would often go to Santa Cruz to see the monarchs, I didn't know Austin was on their path! Beautiful use of products.

I love this - the monarch just pops - my girlfriend raised Monarchs this year and has created a butterfly friendly backyard - love these butterflies!

Lovely page! I can only wish they stopped by here, but they are rare for us.

what awesome layering ... I was surprised at the many monarchs that resided here over the summer. people take them very seriously --- planting milkweed which once was in abundance and on which they thrive. even our dog park has planted milkweed along its trails. they are a beautiful sight to behold and your lo only adds to their beauty.

Beautiful composition and love how the ribbon hangs! My daughter-in-law lives along their migration path. She has a garden dedicated to them.

How nice your area is on the monarch path. This summer I saw several, but they did land on anything to get a picture. Love how your photo turned out in the fotoblendz, and the bundle works beautifully. Love scripted FB and the long ribbon!

The pairing of your beautiful capture and this quote will stick with me...a reminder to value and enjoy the present. Lovely creation, Christy!
