Thanks to Adryane and aATeam for colorful inspiration and challenges!

I remember the first hint of daylight revealing a line of tiny figures on the horizon moving toward us. Word of our medical clinic in a remote village in Northern Kenya spread across the border to Ethiopia and this group
had walked miles in hope of receiving eye glasses, dental care, or a visit with the pediatrician.

What a beautiful page, and the memory hits home today--I can't help but think of the refugees who are right now walking to what they hope will be a better life. Hope is a powerful driver of many engines. Well done!

Beautiful page, Marnie. I can't imagine what it would be like to have to walk miles and miles in the hope of receiving basic medical care. Nor can I imagine what it must have felt like for you to be there and witness this. Thank you for sharing this memory.

What a memory--and so beautifully recreated on paper. Timely, also for the world today. We are so fortunate--cannot imagine the plight of so many who seek the basics that we take for granted.
