Process
Artsy paper 2 from the new APP Riant was used as the foundation of the page. The photo was converted to black and white with a high contrast. The fotoblendz mask in UTFB Frames 2_1 was resized larger (blending mode changed to hard light.The photo was then clipped to it. The frame layers were merged together and then duplicated. The orange paper was layered between the 2 frame layers, giving an orange tint to the image. Frame 2 from the kit was added with several transfers clipped to the mass. A variety of layers and embellishments from Assemblage Overlays 2 were layered onto the page. Word art was added to complete the page.
Striking depth and graphic feel...love how the 'metal' word art connotes bridge building materials. I think I love photographing architecture for the same reasons...my dad was an architect and would show me/talk about design concepts. Super composition, Miki!
I love the pattern created by the girders, dramatic and exciting and framing all those straight angles with a circular frame just adds to the depth even more! Superb composition Miki!
