My granddaughters are in England right now probably having the adventure of their lives with their distant relatives. I grabbed these photos off their social medial.
Journaling: The girls are in the UK once again, their second trip. This time they went alone to visit relatives and Mom and Dad stayed home. I am so happy they get to go on this adventure together and they are on my mind all the time. I know how much they were looking forward to this trip and meeting the relatives for the first time they didnt meet last summer. And it makes me happy they wont be alone, but with natives that can show them more than the touristy places.
Sophia likes to plan ahead of time and Autumn is a more free wheeling kind of person. A good chunk of their two weeks will be spent in London and Sophie has a lot of museums scheduled. Autumn will comply to a certain extent, wanting more of the flavor of London in the present and not just the past. I am looking forward to hearing how they compromised. And I hope itll be a peaceful compromise.

Notes: After opening the template, I added the photos then using solid paper 2 as the foundation. I duplicated some of the photos and blended. I used papers on the rest of the masks and added the map to one of the framed masks.
Title and journaling came next and then I started to build up the page with the tissue textures, tape, stains, paints and splatters. I also added the art stroke from the palette.
To finish the page off, the dimensional elements were moved into place along with the glow on the Windsor Castle photo to bring out the garden a little more.
