Process: I started with an artsy paper from ArtPlay Palette Bravura. I placed the photo and desaturated it. I added a Color Overlay in a brown tone and also adjustments layers for Levels and Curves. I extracted the photo by using brushes on an inverted mask. Then I placed transfers, edge overlays and gold paints from ArtPlay Palette Bravura to complete the background around the photo. I used a various of blending modes for all these. I placed a foliage at the left side and duplicated it. Both were set to blending mode Soft Light and then I changed the color to blue. I really liked how the blue on the foliage turned out so I went back and added a layer with Color Fill (blue) to the photo. I used it for my grandsons clothes. Then I placed textures from PaperTextures No 8 and brushes from ArtPlay Palette Bravura. I added the title and wordtransfer from Bravura WordART Mix No 1 and finished the layout with embellishments from ArtPlay Palette Bravura and then my journaling.
