Office Harmony

Journaling: It took 4 days to whip this tiny office into shape and its still not done, but what is left to do can wait for colder days to come. Even though I got rid of a lot of books and papers, what is left I love. The shelves are not arranged to my liking, I like my books arranged by category and in a pleasing way and the desk drawers still need to be organized. Going through this room was like entering a time capsule, sometimes making me smile and other times making me wonder why it was still in my life.

Shortly after I bought ink for the printer, it decided to give up the ghost and of course the new printer doesnt take the same kind of ink tanks. But no matter, I can breathe and create in my office once again with the surfaces clean off. I can now journal in the morning at my analog desk, out of reach of the computer. Maxwell found the spot I cleared for him on the computer desk next to window, but I still got his butt in my face. Oh well, nothings perfect.

Notes: After opening the second page of the double page template, I again clipped the photos to the masks and artsy kardz to the rest of the masks, blending and using a filter on the black and white photo. Artsy paint was used underneath the top left and bottom right photos. I also added the paper texture along the right edge of the photos.

Creating the title and adding the journaling, changing the leading a bit to fit all of the journaling in the space, I added the textures and bits and pieces from the MM Document over and under the photos, finishing with the dimensional elements.
Congratulations on your big accomplishment and your great documentation.

A job well done, and perseverance pays off. As for Maxwell, his comfort is always of the utmost importance, I know! So it was with my Charley. It's looking great at home in your office.
