Process

Using a solid paper I added my image then placed the transfers and overlays around it until I had a good position.
Using an inverted mask I brushed out all the pieces I didnt want.
As the photograph wasnt in good condition I decided to use blending modes to create a distressed look, so I duplicated the image and mask three times and applied different modes until I was happy with the result. I added a hue and saturation adjustment layer to warm everything up a bit.
The Scottish heritage brushes were stamped and I duplicated these and applied a Linear Burn blending mode.
Finally I added a title, WordART and some elements.
