Journaling:
The demolition shook the house. A lot. Then we went to the Flat Tops while Scott laid brick in 90-degree heat. Noah, his 10-year-old grandson, helped and was pretty excited about getting paid, but the heat really got to him. He gave me a high 5 because I knew that 12 times 12 is 144.

Oh my goodness, thats a big job and cudos to the grandson for helping in the heat, couldnt have been easy for grandfather either. Wonderful documentation.

Love the photos and how they tell the story. I can relate ... home construction can be disruptive. Been through a few projects with the husband. Glad you were able to leave and enjoy some quiet.
