Process
Solid paper 1 from APP Rougir was used as the foundation. The journal was layered onto the page and the photo was added with the blending mode changed to darken. The photo was duplicated and flipped horizontally and placed on the opposite page of the journal. Using the selective tool the image was outlined and then cut out. A custom shadow to the cut out section was added. A snippet of an artsy paper was placed under the cutout. The declaration of intention document was scanned with the contrast and brightness increased and layered under the journal. The blending mode of the document was changed to darken. Torn paper textures were layered above and below the document. Assemblage Overlays 1_4 was added. Some of the layers were moved around to better fit the page. Stitchez, stains and splatters from MM Roses 1_3 were added to the journal. Word art and dimensional elements completed the page.
