My daughter Jackie and her family live in an orchard high above the city away from it all and sitting on her deck overlooking the view is a treat for me. I live in a much smaller city, but on a very busy street.
Journaling: I love sitting on Jackies deck early in the morning when I visit my family. Its so peaceful and I am left alone with my coffee and thoughts and for a brief moment, no cares in the world.

Photo: Mine
Font: FG Rakel
Notes: Starting with solid paper 5 and bringing in the fotoblendz and photo, clipping the photo to the mask. I placed the paper texture in the upper right corner and resized the mask/photo, putting the right edge against the paper texture. With a layers mask and soft round brush, I brushed away part of the photo that was overlapping the texture. I duplicated the photo and ran a Fresco Filter on it and blended to Lighten. Above the photo, using an artsy paint brush and a color from the sky, stamped it to extent the sky upward.
Then just above the background paper in the layers panel, I placed a part of an assemblage overlay then adding the art strokes. I added the dimensional elements on the right edge at the bottom of the paper texture, giving the button a drop shadow. I placed the word art below the dimensional elements in the layers panel.
Adding the journaling in the upper left corner and a blue artsy stain underneath and tapes at the top of the page and at the left side of the photo and blended to Linear Burn. I believe that finished the page.
