The Great Peshastin Pet Parade

Journaling: For years I had heard about The Great Peshastin Pet Parade, but had never seen it. I didnt want to miss it this year. I was ready with camera in hand to catch the exciting moments. The parade started with the fire truck blowing its horn loudly, followed by the high school marching band playing the school song. And behind them were the proud owners and their pets.

Many of the animals wanted things to move along a little faster, pulling at their leashes. Some of the children were dressed up in sparkling finery and danced along the way with their pets. The goats and one lone horse were the best behaved. The parade lasted maybe 5 minutes, and then it was all over for another year. I loved every minute of it and glad I drove the 5 miles to the neighboring town of Peshastin to share in the excitement with them. Ill probably do it again next year because there arent many kinds of moments like this any more.

Notes: The things I changed on this template was the text boxes to fit my journaling, deleted the tape and a plume and added a retired mask, otherwise I left it as is. I used artsy paper 2 as the foundation after I clipped the photos to their respective masks on the page.

After recoloring the stains, I added the title and journaling.

The rest of it is very straight forward. I added a word transfer underneath the middle and top right photos, a png MM flower next to the journaling and the weed on the right of the bottom photo along with the splatter next to the title. That finished this page.
You make me want to go! It looks like my kind of parade...subject matter and length. Love how you blended the big photo, and the added the small B&W..."The End!" hehehe

Gorgeous page - In every way - beautiful design and photos, the journaling and the whole story are just wonderful- and I would like to be there too
